For a millenium, Grizelda has watched the world change. Mortals scurrying through their simple lives, struggling against their limited years. Cities rising and falling, great kingdoms blooming and shriveling into decay. In that time, a sinister experiment has been taking place within the walls of her Stygian compound, Mundus Mortis, deep below the surface of the earth. As fate would have it, the raw materials needed for her research have been delivering themselves to her doorstep for generations.

A sorceress of unimaginable power, Grizelda has assembled a cadre of creatures to assist her in carrying out her cruel plans: Necrow, her zombified and zealous lab assistant; Matryoshka, a massive demonic sentinel with nigh-invincible armored flesh; and Vorpal, a nimble and deadly insectoid assassin riddled with exotic venom. Many brave and determined adventurers have dared to face them, but few who enter Grizelda’s compound live to tell the tale… and those that do often wish they hadn’t. These fearsome stewards of darkness may well be unstoppable, but that won’t keep a parade of fresh meat from seeking the wealth, glory, honor, and vengeance that would come with their demise.

Those that defy her eventually fall under her spell. They will learn to call her…
